F&B Service and Food Production Diploma – 1 Year

Course Description:

The F&B Service and Food Production Diploma at HTMi Saudi Arabia is an intensive one-year program designed to provide students with comprehensive training in food and beverage service operations and food production management. This course offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills development, preparing students for careers in various sectors of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and event management.

Course Objectives:

  • To provide students with a solid foundation in food and beverage service techniques, including table set-up, food presentation, and customer interaction.
  • To develop students’ skills in food production management, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
  • To cultivate professionalism, adaptability, and effective communication skills essential for success in the fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • To familiarize students with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in F&B service and food production management.
  • To prepare students for entry-level positions in F&B service, food production, or further academic study in hospitality and culinary fields.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Upon completion of the F & B Service and Food Production Management Associate Diploma, students will be able to:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in food and beverage service techniques, including proper table set-up, tray service, and customer interaction.
  • Apply principles of food safety and sanitation to ensure compliance with health regulations and industry standards.
  • Plan and organize food production processes, including menu development, recipe standardization, and kitchen workflow management.
  • Execute cooking techniques and food presentation skills to produce high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment and tools effectively, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food preparation utensils.
