Cashier & Retail  Certificate | 4 Months

Course Description:

The Cashier and Retail Certificate at HTMi Saudi Arabia is a comprehensive four-month program designed  to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively in cashiering and retail environments. This course covers essential topics such as cash handling, customer service, inventory management, and sales techniques. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical training, students will gain the confidence and proficiency required to succeed in various retail settings.

Course Objectives:

  • To provide students with a solid understanding of cashiering procedures, including handling cash, processing transactions, and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • To develop students’ customer service skills and enhance their ability to interact professionally with customers and address their inquiries and concerns.
  • To familiarize students with retail sales techniques, including upselling, cross-selling, and product knowledge.
  • To instill good organizational habits and attention to detail in managing inventory, restocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness.
  • To prepare students for entry-level positions in cashiering, retail sales, or further career advancement in the retail industry.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Upon completion of the Cashier and Retail Certificate, students will be able to:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in cashiering tasks, including accurate cash handling, processing transactions, and balancing cash
  • registers.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers courteously, responding to inquiries promptly, and resolving complaints effectively.
  • Apply retail sales techniques to maximize sales opportunities, increase customer satisfaction, and promote product awareness.
  • Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technology to process transactions efficiently and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Manage inventory effectively by monitoring stock levels, restocking merchandise, and conducting regular inventory counts.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and integrity in all cashiering and retail duties.
